A Justicar Jhee Mystery
I took some time out to watch my favorite shows. Though, I did keep up with my daily targets.
I really don’t expect to have much progress here unless a flash of brilliance strikes.
Random excerpt:
“As our most gracious host, please pardon my ignorance of what I and my household must do to be most gracious guests.”
I rearranged the scene listing which also included bits and snips into rough chronological order. Then I turned them into a synopsis. It’s still full of plot holes, so I won’t call it a “conceptual” synopsis yet. The distinction I’m making between synopsis and conceptual synopsis is the former tells me what I wrote and the latter combines that yet to be written scenes. Invariably, I find I have missing scenes. Either because I need to setup something already in the story or I add a new subplot or extra characters. For a conceptual synopsis, I combine those with the previous scenes into an unholy hybrid between a synopsis and an outline.
I ironed out one minor order of events issue. Realized I never explicitly settled on a cause of death for the victim. I will need to have a think on it. My momentum started to pick up speed. Though, the story direction is still a little iffy. I also firmed up the who in the whodunit. I am still working out how magical forensics works.
Excerpt:
When she hesitated unable or unsure of how to move, gentle guiding pressure on her back made it clear how and when to move.
The situation here is similar to Book 1. If the spirit moves me, I make note. Otherwise, nothing much doing here.
Have a lovely day!
