Keep On Writing Don’t Stop

A lot of procrastination on my part. I’m trying to unravel the tangle of varied storylines and half-formed notions of Book 1. I did complete a scene listing then cleaned up a lot of the notes and asides I left for myself as I wrote the first draft. The framework I had going in turned out to be woefully inadequate.

I’m contemplating a drastic setting change for Book 2 as well. I’ve also noticed how some recurring characters’ personalities have drifted not shifted from the first book to the second. The distinction being it’s not the result of character growth but me forgetting how I had portrayed them the first time through and the roles and backstory I had given them.
